Lineup of mobile scanners Brother added three new devices

The Japanese company Brother announced the completion of its line of mobile scanners with three tiny, stylish and lightweight device that fits in your bag or glove compartment in the car, so you can use them on-site meetings and business trips. The new models are named as follows: DS-820W, DS-720D, DS-620. They are primarily aimed at corporate customers, who often need to scan documents out of the office.

All three devices are scanned in high resolution (600 dpi) at a rate of 7.5 pages per minute in color and black-and-white mode. For the scanner you only need one USB cable, through which the power and data transfer to a computer.

The big advantage of the new models, according to the manufacturer, is a simple and intuitive control , so run a scan is performed with a single click. In addition, users can scan documents directly to a preset folder in online services or in an attachment to an e-mail. This automation accelerates and improves the quality of business processes , as well as free human resources to perform additional tasks. All devices have the ability to save scanned documents in popular formats such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and also in the form of PDF files with the ability to highlight text and searching for the right words on it.

Model DS-720D, in addition to all these features, has the function of duplex scanning at a rate of 5 pages per minute, and the most advanced innovation was the flagship model of DS-820W. It is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi module, through which users can send scanned documents on computers and mobile devices on a wireless network Wi-Fi. The scanner has its own battery, which allows it to operate even when there is no connectivity to the network. In standalone mode, the device can scan 90 pages with included Wi-Fi and 450 pages without it. The list of the features of this device also includes the presence of the SD card slot.

Devices occupy a minimum of space, their weight does not exceed 500 g and the dimensions of the model DS-620 represent only 29.1 cm in length, 5.3 cm in width and 3.7 cm in height.

All three models support the operating systems Windows and Mac, and DS-820W also has the ability to connect to Android and iOS devices using the application «ScanHub».
